Dr Andreas Brieger
Veterinarian and co-owner
Expertise : birds and exotic pets
The only veterinarian on the South Shore certified in avian and exotic pet practice, Dr Brieger has been treating these species for more than 20 years. Graduated from Hanover veterinary school in Germany, he started practicing in England, then moved to Canada. He has also worked as clinical instructor at the veterinary faculty of the University of Montréal. Despite his animal allergy, he is still practicing with the same enthusiasm as at the beginning. Add his great sense of humour, and there’s nobody quite like him.

Dr Cécile Dautet
Expertise:dogs and cats
Dr Dautet likes a challenge and loves staying abreast of the latest advances and best practices in veterinary medicine. Due to her charming, warm character and energy, clients find it easy to trust her with their pets. Dr Dautet has more than 25 years of experience, participated in various training courses in surgery and medicine and continues her education, regularly taking part in conferences and online learning.

Dr Eugénie Henri-Guyot
Expertise:birds and exotic pets
A cheerful reception for you and your feathered, scaly or furred pet is what you can expect from Dr Henry-Guyot. She also takes great care to make sure that all your decisions about your pet’s health are well-informed. During her internship at an exotic animal hospital in the U.S.A., she adopted a three-legged bunny whom she offered a happy life full of loving care. Thanks to this love affair and her firm grounding in exotic pet medicine, she is well positioned to assist you with your special-needs pet.

Dr Maude Trudeau
Expertise:dogs and cats, birds and exotic pets
Soft-spoken and with a twinkle in her eyes, Dr Trudeau will extend you a warm welcome at each visit. Gentle and attentive to detail, she is one of the rare veterinarians working with cats and dogs as well as being experienced with birds and exotic pets. Before working in private practice, Dr Trudeau took various advanced veterinary training courses and volunteered to care for small mammal pets, injured birds of prey and bats.

Dr Josée Guilmette
Expertise:dogs and cats, birds and exotic pets
Cheerful, charming and engaging, Dr Guilmette has been practicing veterinary medicine for almost 15 years, including several years at an emergency centre for small animals and an internship in zoological medicine at the veterinary faculty. She is one of the few veterinarians with a solid expertise in cats and dogs as well as in avian and exotics practice. Also an artist at heart, she loves painting in oil colors. We are very proud that Dr. Guilmette has recently joined our team! Do not hesitate to come in and meet her.
General manager

Jessica
General manager and animal health technician, Jessica is our team’s benevolent matron. Attentive, caring and devoted to offering great service, she is also our resource for small animal reproductive and behaviour questions. Her love of animals shows in everything she does and she takes great pleasure in counselling you regarding all you need to know to care well for your pet. Jessica also has a particular affection for parrots and for birds in general.
Animal health technicians

Kim
Efficient, direct and frank, Kim will never give you any advice or guidance that she does not personally believe in. She takes pride in offering the same high level of service that she would expect to experience if she were herself a client at our clinic. Always thirsty for knowledge, she regularly attends courses and conferences. Animal welfare is very important to Kim, both domestically and abroad. Following a journey to Sri Lanka to help with an elephant project, she will certainly find more opportunities to assist animals in need.

Julie
Gentle and delicate, competent, attentive to detail and exceptionally patient, Julie’s quiet force is much appreciated by both humans and pets. Each one of her patients receives close attention, expert care and a good dose of love. Respectful of animals, Julie still marvels at their little antics and adapts herself to their individual temperaments. She devotes some of her time to traveling in order to help with animal rescue projects abroad. Julie is a veritable ray of light in our team.

Xin
Discreet and thoughtful, Xin is particularly experienced with exotic pets. You may be lucky enough to meet her occasionally and benefit from her knowledge and calm explanations, however she works mostly at our veterinary hospital for birds and exotic animals in Montreal. She always had a great desire to help with animal welfare causes, accordingly she volunteered at the SPCA Montreal and at the Ecomuseum for many years. Nowadays she also works for the Humane Society Canada.

Sarah-Michelle
Sarah-Michelle is devoted with heart and soul to animal welfare. Her work ethic is impeccable and her patients leave the clinic fully charged with her love and treats. She has maintained a great thirst for bio-medical knowledge about all the different species that are coming through our doors. Her main work is now in a hospital diagnostic laboratory and she only works occasionally at the clinic, but she is a valuable member of our team due to her many years of experience in veterinary practice.

Vanessa
For Vanessa, the whole world should be populated with all sorts of beings living in perfect harmony. She loves making a difference and helping little fur balls in need. Thanks to her own rabbit shelter organization, she is well placed to come to the rescue of abandoned rabbits in order to find them a responsible and loving family where they can live in safety. Vanessa has chosen to make her dream come true and will soon start her studies to become an animal health technician.

Lorie-Pier
Lorie-Pier is an efficient, direct and organized young lady full of interesting ideas. She is always giving her best when it comes to client service. Great animal lover, she has acquired significant expertise in pet shops before joining our team. Lorie-Pier’s special interests include animal nutrition and she is always ready to advise you on food, treats and accessories for your furry, feathered or scaly pet.
