A very busy spring season
New clinic, new challenges!
It is time for us to acknowledge just how much our whole team has made huge efforts to make the move possible and to settle into the new premises. Our goal was to move the clinic with a minimum of service interruptions. We were without veterinary service only for one single day! Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts to the team who prepared the move and has made this possible!
Following the move, many things needed to be re-organized, protocols and logistics needed updating, boxes had to be emptied, new machines were installed. We also learned the hard way how much time it takes to set up, to get used to and to train everybody on a new computer platform, on new laboratory machines, on new diagnostic instruments, on new monitoring devices, on organizational challenges, expansion and changes, including welcoming more new clients than ever. This would not have been as fast or as smooth without the great work of our general manager who tirelessly laboured for the past 4 months to make it happen. All our gratitude goes to Jessica for being there for us all!
At the same time, we were extremely lucky to add four new employees to our team. This will enable us to meet the vastly increased demand for our service. A warm welcome to Mé, Mathew, Elsa and Dr. Guilmette, and thank you for your patience and positive attitude during your training and integration phase that happened during the chaotic settling-in period in the new clinic. And a very huge thank you to Jessica and all staff members who gracefully organized and participated in the training and successful integration of the newcomers while you were already on overload following the move!
We are also very lucky to have the support of such a magnificent team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, technician helpers and receptionists. You all found your way around the new clinic layout, re-organized consult rooms, the pharmacy, the shop, the surgery room and so forth. You were all incredibly patient, gracefully accepting unexpected delays and unplanned challenges. And you managed to survive the busiest spring season we ever had! Thank you all for giving your best!
And last but not least, we would like to thank you, our clients, for your patience with us while we were getting used to the new clinic, for following us in the first place, for your nice words of encouragement and for bearing with us when we were making you wait because we could not keep up with the increased demand. Thank you very much to all new clients for adopting us as your new clinic and for being nice and supportive with our employees during this extremely busy spring.
Gratefully yours,
Andreas Brieger and Julie Séguin
